After 7 years of education and experience, Jackie Messelink began to envision a classic, yet fresh salon experience.  A space that catered to the clients desires and stirred the stylist’s creative talent.  With this vision in mind, Pure Salon was launched in 2007 as a modern oasis in an urban jungle.  Partnering with her husband Nathan, the two selected The Boardwalk Condos as the perfect property to play host to Pure.   With its unique fusion of classic history and fresh style, the Boardwalk offered essential architecture for one of downtown Grand Rapids most chic salons.  After months of renovations, Pure emerged with tall, open ceilings, smooth, white walls, glossy cement floors and eye catching, minimalist décor…an artistic example as to why less is always more.  We invite you experience the style, the talent and the service that is Pure Salon.
